Rosewill RMA Experience

Post by normalicy »

Today, I did my very first RMA with Rosewill. I sent this to them 4 hours ago.
Hello, I have a Rosewill RC-212 PCI to SATA/IDE adapter that is not functioning properly. I get blue screens with it plugged in no matter if there is anything plugged into it or not. As soon as it is removed, I no longer have issues. I'd like to apply for an RMA (I've had it longer than Newegg's return policy will accept a return on, but under 1 year).

Thanks,
Mickey

I don't know if this correlates with the fact that I posted an eval on newegg yesterday or if they do this for everyone. One way or another I'm impressed. Especially by the fact that they were able to work so close with newegg.

Yeah, I always liked the value of their stuff, but assumed their customer service was about the same as all the rest of the start ups. Surprise to me.

I've wondered for a long time if Newegg didn't have part ownership in Rosewill or something. They were the first company, that I recall, to carry Rosewill. I have to say, I Love the R103A case. It's nothing fancy, but it's well built and doesn't cut the crap out of me every time I stick my hand in there. And for the price you can't beat it's quality.

Oh, I'm pretty sure that they are a Newegg company. Or at least owned by them. Like you noted, for about 5 years, Newegg was the only company to carry them.

Yeah, I've done quite a few RMAs & this was the smoothest so far. Of course, I still need to receive it. We'll see if the follow through is as good.

Thanks for posting that.
Off to shop Newegg now for Rosewill stuff :s mile

I have often wanted to buy a few of their things but shied away due to a few reviews, often low prices, and worries of a bad item and RMA hassles.
I think now I will give them a try if they have something I want next time.
