Maybe its just me but you don't sell drugs in this game. You actually take down drug dealers.

I've seen a video clip of the scene, the chick IS nude. What bothers me though is that you need a hack to unlock it, using a hack you can probably add on a whole new section to the game, hell, you can convert it into an all out porn flick. It's not like you can unlock it using a cheat code or something. I think that this whole thing is absolutly rediculous and a waste of our tax $$. These people should be worrying about things that actually matter, let parents parent their own kids.

The thing getting Rockstar in trouble is the character actions. The built-in models are not nude, the nude models are added by the 3rd party addition. The video clip you saw was NOT the default models. Trust me, I own the game and did the Hot Coffee mod to see what all the fuss is about. If you read the readme of the hack you see it says that they ADD the nude models by CHANGING a necessary file.

Rock Star did not do this they had hidden content that was not known about at game release

Rockstar knew about the content. There is no way that they didn't know. When you actually use the hack it has messages and everything explaining what to do. It is known content.

I don't really keep up to date with the games , but isn't this like the 3rd or 4th release of the game . I know I've heard of Vice City and I know there was one or two before then . You mean the the tight@asses were upset over those too ?

This is the fifth game in the series. There was GTA, GTA:2, GTA:3, GTA: Vice City, and now GTA: SA. And the big fuss started with GTA3 and continued with GTA:VC and now is even more with GTA: SA.

The true problem with the game, besides the killing, prostitution, and such (which has been a part of the game since the first one), is the level of language that this game uses. It is WAY worse than the previous games.

Well of course Rockstar knew the content was there but they did not make it public knowledge. My point was the ratings board and Joe Public had no idea the content was on the disk at the time the game was available.

The content should not have been in there. Tell me this wasn't a win win for Rockstar though. They don't get caught it's a fun Easter Egg for those in the know. They get caught and they get a TON of free publicity.

Bet the game sells FAR more now than it would have without all the fuss.

Look there's responsibility on both sides. Rockstar definately did something less than honest.

However parents certainly shouldn't allow their children to buy this game - it's a game for adults. We know kids still play it, and we know parents are too lazy to supervise what they're kids buy. Life goes on. I read Playboy when I was 14 and I didn't turn into a rapist.

For the forces of good, right? Taking down a drug dealer is one thing. Taking down a drug dealer so you can take over his territory is a little different.

To be specific you take down drug dealers to clean out your hood and get it back on track and then you take down the supplier in the end to also get rid of corrupt cops.

so why are so many parents doing it?

thats what the M rating is there for! or in our case in england the 18 rating.

Just, that's a far better intention.

Remember all the X Rated add-ons for Duke 3D and the Penthouse map. Not much was said about that, that I recall.

from the latest news on can find they are upset the Rockstar disable this to get a lower rating and not that it was disable??? WTF...

and the consoles cant even get hot coffee unless you load a backup with the 1byte censorship flag altered, so why are they getting pulled off the shelves

If it had been a simple 3rd party plugin it would have been a much darker shade of gray.

Straight from the horses mouth.

I sat in on a conf. call yesterday with my regional manager since he was at my store.

Rockstar will release 2 ver. of GTA : SA, The first of course is the AO for any company who will sell it.
The actuall scene in the game will be enabled. ALSO the scene was with NO NUDITY at all, The scene on the net was a modded scene. The origional went out exactly like we saw online, exept the characters BOTH had clothes on, the girl was wearing a mini skirt and a tank top.

The second obviously is the M rated, with the scene removed.

I can also say that IF I hadnt had to send all my copies back I would have sold every last fucking one of them. I have been kicked in the head with " I want grand theft auto"

Rockstar is defenatly going to make some money from the buzz on this.

And I would like to say that people with kids and crap need to take some damn responsibility when it comes to stuff like this. I never said its ok for a kid to watch porn. But if I had to choose at gun point for my kid to watch someone get there head chopped off, or Rocko Hootching some girls ass, Id pick the ass hootching.

Worse case scenario my boy would choose to wanna get some ass of his own. It would be MY responsibility to explaine the precautions or safe sex and pregnacy.

Worse case of him watching a head get chopped off? Well id say maybe not them going out and choppin off a head but maybe not handling a situation like he should.

Either way I decide not you.

Now Im fixin to play GOD of WAR where I have encountered at least 8 Ladies with nice tits, and as far as I remember I have had sex with 2 of them on the game.
