I'm having problems with my floppy. It will boot ok using boot to floppy in BIOS. But when trying to open a floppy in Windows XP, I either get insert disk (disk is already inserted) or a message saying there is an I/O error.
Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?
What is a Floppy I/O Error?

yes I have tried different floppies. I can boot to the floppy and it reads fine. I can try to open the very same floppy in Windows XP and get that error or a message saying to insert the disk.
