can I run pc133 in a DDR system board?

Some of the Early boards had slots for DDR and slots for SDR. Anymore, the DDR boards will only use DDR memory. An Asus A7A266 can use DDR or SDR. I know there are a few other older boards that can use wither kind too.

However, on those boards, both kinds could NOT be used at the same time. Either SDR or DDR, not both.

I knew I forgot something. I have heard of people trying both at the same time, not a pretty sight.
