help my monitor!

my kds 17" died....... it worked when i first got it now a couple months later. the power turns on but the screen stays black. nothing from the monitor. any suggestions will help. thank you!

There were rumors that KDS had gone out of business but it appears that these rumors were not true. Is it still under warranty? Most KDS monitors have a 3 year warranty. I had one die on me and it was a good experience dealing with KDS getting it replaced. I was lucky they have a major facility near my house and I was able to take my dead monitor there and leave with a new one. You can contact them at http://www.kdsusa.com Good Luck

do the light(s) flash like its in stand by mode

no the light works fine. its the same as when its on properly. it clicks then nothing appears.
