well sir, i recently got a pny geforce 2 ti card and no matter what i tried it would freeze the computer so i had to push the reset button to restart the details of this are in the thread entitled "help agp card wont work right" i sent the pny back and am now thinking of getting the chain tech gf2, i wanted to know if anyone has had a problem with it.

could you provide me w/ more details as to your system specs and what OS you're using?
if it was winXP you're running, you may need a BIOS flash or an update on your VIA drivers in order to fix the crash

Soyodragon k7v266 kt266 chipset
1.4 t-bird cpu
cmi onboard sound enabled irq11
promise raid controller disabled
volcano 6 cu hsf
256mb ddr ram
250watt ps
4x4x24 cdrw master
hitachi 2x dvd slave
wd 6.3gb hdd slave
fujitsu 6.2gb hdd master
vid card pny geforce2 ti irq10
floppy
lan disabled
latest 4 in 1 driver listed @ soyousa site
latest nvidia driver from nvidia site
tried win 98|win98se|WINme same problem on all 3
tried turning on|off |fast write|post write
changed aperature 32|64|128|256
init agp first
intalled dx8.0 required
Problem descripion|detailed
computer freezes @boot up with latest drivers and aperature set to 32|64 mb
computer freezes 2 minutes running with aperature 128mb
computer freezes during an install prog of any software @ aperature 256mb
installshield typ installer is used. tried this stuff with fast write on|off post write on|off
tried 3dmark 2001(was already installed thank god) crashed at vertex shading test.
rebooted, tried other bios combos with fast write ant that other stuff. nothing.
then i got pissed off and quit.
well thats about it if ive forgotten anything let me know.

your voltage stats at idle are meanlingless..
if you see your voltage drop under 4.8v you will have stability problems...
but for the most part, your system requires 300w or greater...

no, it is the power supply specs i have listed not actual voltage
it is like 12v @ 8Amps 1Amp =125 watts. hmm would be more than 300 watts if its figured that way for comps, maybe its different for them, idunno, i did order a 350 ps 400 watt is 100 bux!!! that sux.

I do NOT like Tiger Direct. They're prices aren't all that hot and they don't have very good reseller ratings. I've had trouble with them.
