could you provide me w/ more details as to your system specs and what OS you're using?
if it was winXP you're running, you may need a BIOS flash or an update on your VIA drivers in order to fix the crash

I would say the 250 watt power supply is suspect.

I agree, unless it's on AMDs recommended PSU list for that CPU.

your voltage stats at idle are meanlingless..
if you see your voltage drop under 4.8v you will have stability problems...
but for the most part, your system requires 300w or greater...
the AMD site sez that

no, it is the power supply specs i have listed not actual voltage
it is like 12v @ 8Amps 1Amp =125 watts. hmm would be more than 300 watts if its figured that way for comps, maybe its different for them, idunno, i did order a 350 ps 400 watt is 100 bux!!! that sux.

what brand could you possibly buy that costs that much!??
my antec 400w is only $70
you can easily get an AMD approved 300w-400w for under $70

for future reference, your best bet in getting good power supplies at decent prices are newegg.com or buy.com

I do NOT like Tiger Direct. They're prices aren't all that hot and they don't have very good reseller ratings. I've had trouble with them.

Directron is good for Power Supplies and cases.

Newegg is also good for everything.
