Easy cd creator 5 platinum crashes in winxp.

It tells me that when I go to burn a cd that the ezcd creator engine initialization has failed, and then it says exception in CreateInstanc of Creator. :( I've got winxp profesional, acer 16x burner, I don't know whats going on here. thanx all.

Beat me to it FP...lol A buddy of mine had the same prob as you Frost... The patch took care of it all...

Well shit i didn't go that far... . My buddy has the XP patch on his computer i'll see if i ca nget it and put it on my ftp space so you can download.

thanx predator, but I still get the crashes and, I allready had those updates. I wonder if the 5.02c patch thats on roxios site is what I need, because the patch I had, and the one I got from cnet were 5.02b.

My only suggestion is to use Nero 5.5 with XP I've never cared for that EZCD at all even version 3 of it royally sucked... Always has problems it seems like... Nero worked great for me under XP.

nero said my burner wasn't supported or it couldn't find it or some shit like that, hmm. I'll try it again though, thanx.

What burner do you have? The latest versino of nero should have every burner there is on it... Or just about every one...
