There's Gran Turismo for PS2, Project Gotham for the Xbox but what about PC? I hear Motor City Online is great but there's a monthly fee.... :o

I just started playing NFS4 again (it didn't work until I dod some modifying to it). It is pretty nice, I have played a low of split screen w/ my borther. There are also thousands of downloadable cars (nfscars.com) that you could get. NFS5 (Procshe Unleashed) is ok, but doesn't have much to do after you beat Factory Drivers and evolution.

Good Luck! :)

F1 racing 2001 is supposed to be the best F1 sim available (I loved F1 2000 but haven't tried 2001), and I personally love Nascar 4.

I was beta tester for MCO and that thing is great. I was hardcore CS junkie before I started beta testing and I droped CS within firs day of playing MCO. There is so much in this game drag racing (my fav :D ) street racing, trial racing, you can mod you car the way how you like it for whatever racing you are in to it. I had belair set straight for drag running 0-60 in flat 5 sec

$10 a monththats the only problem with this game if I ever find some *cough* FREE SERVERS *cough* I'll be there draging my ass off.

Nothing new that I've tried is much good. I still prefer NFS5 and NFS3. Motoracer 2 and MotoCross Madness 2 also but they won't play in XP unfortunately.

2 new ones look promising but not sure when they will be released. Rally Trophy and MotoRacer 3.

RoadRash is an older game but is so much fun and total hoot. Bikers racing and hitting each other with chains, kicking them off the road and the cops too, etc.. :lol And now I can't find my cd. Anyone have this game wanna trade for something?

Hmm.. I can't believe I'm the only one playing motor city on this board. (after the beta test)
Ya the fee stinks, but never has an online game held my attention this long! Why do you think I haven't been posting much here lately. Heh.
Hey XgieroX, you should really consider getting back in if you enjoyed testing that much.. Were only talking a few cents a day for hours of fun. I was against paying too but had to reconsider. Glad I did. :)

Heres my current ride: 1970 Nova (I also have a 67 chevell but haven't worked on it much)

<img src="http://cskogen.homestead.com/files/nova_2.jpeg">

I could scrap + chash or sell for a better car but I've become attached to it. Go firgure.. I'm attached to a jumble of polygons!

But if anyone has any questions about MCO please ask. I like to see more join. Just checked and we 1,800 on right now across 4 servers/shards. Not as many as beta had though. :( Need more!!
GeForce GTX 970
AMD FX 8350 8 core Processor

Seems plenty good for gaming! :)

The racing titles for the PC are really pathetic, if you compare its list of titles against the consoles (especially the PS and PS2). Tried MCO, an ok game, but graphics ain't the best and not really my style of gaming. You're forced to play online only, I guess that's why they call it MCO.

With F1, I spend more time trying to keep the freakin car on the road than worry about my position placement :P Challenging game.

Wish there were more titles for the PC. Makes me wanna go out and pick up a console. XBox or Gamecube, depending on which platform will have more quality racing titles.

I tell you what if they ever crack the MCO and people will be able to host their own servers I will be the first guy to go and buy that fricking game but I'm not seeing myself paying for something that I'm wasting my time on it. I think I might have found fairly good racing game it is european but it has multiplayer support and it looks pretty cool, its called Pro Rally 2001 so far it is pretty cool I will be testing MP on the Lan Party :bonk

URL for MCO? I'd like to try another PC car type game as I don't presently have any that aren't so old that they're now a royal pain to try installing, setting up on a newer PC. I'm tired of all the older DOS based game setup problems.

I then suppose it's best with steering wheel setup? I need to get one but also need a good reason to do so as well.
