i honestly don't know the exact mhz rating for the kanie...but i've used on thunderbird athlon 1.4ghz and work like a champs...

since athlon mp is based on palomino core which is runs cooler than regular thunderbird, i believe that the kanie will works great for the highest athlon xp that is available for now...

remember to slap some arctic silver in between to get the greatest possible performance..

alfalfa,
I did some research on those Kanie's, and although they are slightly less efficient then my PAL6035's, they look a lot prettier. :)
How about I trade you my p3 933/133EB for 2 Hedgehog's w/Delta's, a FAC08 chipset cooler and a syringe of Arctic Silver2. Let me know what you think, all together it's about 78$, and the lowest price on pricewatch now for a p3 933/133EB is 118$ US.

ok i can trade you, p3 933/133EB for 2 Hedgehog's w/Delta's, a FAC08 chipset cooler and a syringe of Arctic Silver2 but...

Could u give me the s-code for the pIII and the stepping....because it will go as dual..i need to make sure that it will work w/ my current processor..is it retail or oem? u guarantee it won't be DOA, rite? do u have heatware? if you don't, then i need to have you send the processor first..you can find check my heatware under alfalfa79...

The SPEC on this OEM cpu is SL4C9, which Intel's P3 S-Spec page says is stepping cC0. Stepping 0 basically. And yes, I guarantee it not to be DOA - I pulled this off of a Compaq Proliant Photon 1U server, and it was only used for maybe a week tops, its in mint condition.
I just signed up for heatware, as I just found out about this forum and haven't done this much but I looked up you profile and I feel you wont screw me so I have no problems sending it out to you first. :) LMK
