Can i say...dang..

Post by Sean »

...well...it depends...

My computer's acting up. The hard drive has really slowed down lately. I thought it may have been because of some mass deletion of old files (I deleted them) in My Documents. So i Disk Defragmented.. It's still moving slower than a snail... like 10seconds to load one directory... Could it be a virus? I have Norton 2001 with ALL up-to-date definitions...and I have only had the net on this computer for maybe a week..if even that long.

I'll try restarting, haven't done so since before I defragmented..

However, that's the only thing going slow...Overwise, Photoshop loads in 4 seconds.. and NFS4 runs split screen a-ok...

Ugg..I don't know.. :-\

Sean, check the Task Manager to see that you don't have a bunch of stuff running needlessly in the backround.

Hmm, I restarted and all was well. (I ran scandisk afeter defragmentation). It's all good now. I think is just needed a restart after the disk defragmentor and scandisk. :)
