Dual Monitor How To

Post by wvjohn »

been playing around with a dually setup on my 8500 but the choices seem to be extend right or down - what do you have to do so that you can kinda sorta run them independently? like run a game on one and do something else on the other?

I'm using the hydravision thingy

I'm kind of curious about a dual monitor setup. I'm currently using Win98 and have a Geforce GTS video card. Besides another monitor, how would one setup something like dual monitor support?

Hydravision under 2k is limited to same res for both monitors to my last knowledge ... 9x or XP don't seem to have this limitation.

have to wait to see if they change the drivers, etc.

i'll wander over to rage3d tomorrow and see what they have there.

what i'd like to be able to do is run a game in one window and use the other to keep an eye on mail, etc.
