Ok, we FINALLY got our second hard drive. Now, this new hard drive is faster than our old one. I just partitioned and formated it (two partitions, one 5 GB (C) and the other (D) 15 GB). Now, the old hard drive is currently disconnected, and I just have the new Maxtor installed. What I want to do, is basically start BRAND NEW! I want to install Windows 98 SE on the new hard drive, and install everything over again. But, what can i do with the old hard drive? If I hooked both up (After Win98SE is on the Maxtor), wouldn't it screw something up? How can I make the old HD just DATA (there are tons of files on it). That way, the old windows files don't affect anything. Could I just rename the windows folder or something?
Also, when I install 98SE, can I specify where I want the Program Files folder, and others? Cause I want all data on the second partition...
Any help would be great. What can I do?!?
THANKS!
Help...Let me explain (if you know a THING about Windows, come here!!!)

maxtor and old one okay. let it go into windows transfer your old files from old hardrive to the 15gb partition. then just install win 98 se on the 5gig partition.
Hey, it's all good! Damn, i feel like I know what I am doing!
I did it. Got it running GREAT! Windows is just stable (not VERY stable, but better than before). i have already transfered files from the old HDD (my documents) and installed Norton 2002 to protect against any un-expected viruses. Works great!
Thanks for the help guys!
