does any one know what is highes Pentium 2 processor i can put in this system

Weel 440 BX is an 100Mhz FSB mobo... So a P2 450 would be the fastest you cna stick in it.. It would also probably accept some P3's also.

That depends on the mothermoard manufacturer and if the bios is flashable .
I have an Abit bh 6 rev 1.0 with bios ss and it is a bx 440 chipset I believe and I just put a celeron 900mhz in it for my kids.
what brand is yours?

my motherboard is made by intel

and its bios is made by phoenix. its the kind motherboard used on gateway computers e series
