Hi I've got 2 5 and 1/2 drives. I think they only read up to 1.2mbs though?

to the best of my knowledge... there aren't any such things such as 5.5" drives...
only 1.44mb 3.5" and 1.2mb 5.25"

heh, my mistake, it is 5-1/4" 1.2mb.

I've got an old 5.25 drive sitting amongst a stack of dead pc's at work..........I'll check it when I get there and let you know.

I've got a box full of 'em too. If you want to pay the shipping costs they are yours. I think most of them work, but I don't even have a 5 1/4" disk to test with.
They're also great for target practice.

i emailed the guy, i think what he is really looking for is a 3.5" 1.44 mb drive in a 5.25" rack/adapter, to put into a 5.25" bay
