I thought it was good and I did not even read the book.

was supposed to watch it with some chic but she never showed :) So I saw most of it and thought it was "ok" Not great, not bad. Worth checkin' it out. I'm sure the kids will love it--since it's directed more towards them. Has some humorous parts too...

hehe, maybe Harry Potter wasn't a good choice for a movie on a date eh :)

It is pretty good. I liked it.

It is definitely targeted at youngsters, but is enjoyable for adults and big kids, like myself.

Yea, pretty good all around movie. The only thing that ruins it is the "dumming down" for the american release. Some of the scarier scenes were cut out too. The huge edit at the end is particularly annoying and obviously just done to keep the PG rating. Hopefully, they'll release a full version on DVD.

She asked me! To make a long story short, she called my dad and my dad told her I went to a friends house, which was a lie I told him--so thats why she didn't show cause she thought I went to a friends house
