So we watched Tomb Raider last night...

Post by Kaworu »

Ok, Joe and myself watched Tomb Raider last night. Joe noticed a rip off, and then we noticed TWO more.

First Ripoff: Very begining - The clouds over that building reminded us a of Mortal Kombat

Second Ripoff: Towards the middle - She received a letter from her father, that was being held for so many years. Sounds almost like a movie I've seen before called Back to the Future

Final Ripoff: Ok, so she defeated the bad guy, saved her friend, seen her father for the last time. General happy ending everyone expects. Those little planet balls spinning around? The entire room falling apart at the seams? Explosions and other cool Scheiße? Demolition Man?

Other than that, I really enjoyed watching <strike> her breast bounce around</strike> the movie. :)

Third rip-off: She's don't git NEKKID!!!!:tongue

(I was at Costco yesterday and the g/f asked if I was gonna buy it. When I didn't seem so enthused, she said, "Come on...you've bought worse DVDs. Get something we'll BOTH enjoy.") Yeah, right. Only if the re-edited it into something coherent. Yeesh. Simon West is suck!

Kaworu, if you want to see her breasts bounce around, watch original sin :) Plus has a good story, I thought. :)

"Original Sin" was dull. The g/f was SO primed to see it cuz it starred both of her fantasy peeps, Angelina and Antonio Banderas, but MAN was the story weak. The sex was OK, but I hope there's more on the DVD to make up for the weak plot.

Considering that I once liked the original game years ago (but hated its controls, no good mouse controls like the Quake type shooters), I found the movie entertaining overall but it could have been done better.
I'm glad I waited until the movie came out on DVD as I might have been dissapointed in the theator.
There's no doubt that AJ's nice to look at, she could be my GF :)

Every movie is a ripoff of every other movie. What do you expect in Hollywood today? Especially when everyone knows that the only reason every one is going to see this movie is for her boobs? I actaully really enjoyed tomb raider, but only because I went into it with zero expectations. My fiancee and I both had a great time with it because of those expectations. :)

I find this review a little odd coming from the man who had a huge Angelina Jolie/Tomb Raider sig for months before and after the movie and STILL has a Tomb Raider pic under his name. :lol ;)
On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

Liking that picture of Angelina Jolie (mmmm....shorts and thighs and guns...) and wanting to get in a mangy three-way with her and Salma Hayek doesn't mean that I thought the movie was any good.
