I lost my sidebar in my folders... any idea how to get it back?

I lost my sidebar in my folders... any idea how to get it back?

I lost that sidebar that thumbnails pictures and tells how big stuff is... you know.. the one on a folder.

If you know how to get it back please post how

If you are using windows, inside the folder, go to view, an select "as Web Page" . That should do it.

for some reason that doesn't do anything...

it doesn't even put a checkmark in the spot

is there anything i can download to restore it, i might have deleted the file that controlled it earlier today when i was cleaning out my HDD...

You didn't, bu chance, use tweakUI to disable Explorer Enhancements did you? That'll disable the ability to view a window as a web page.

well.. re-install IE could solve it :)

or as my ol stupid friend would do... FORMAT C: and then re-install windows :) *lame as*

Try making the window a little bigger. That happens to me sometimes.

still nothing works...haven't tried reinstalling IE yet though :)

Drop down the view menu in explorer
and check status bar
