Need Win98 software CPU cooling recommendation...

Post by FlyingPenguin »

Running a P3-550 @ 733 on the wife's system under Win98. I've tried Rain but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Any recommendations?

Thx

i've used rain on k6-2 xxx suceesfully

there used to be one called waterfall out there too

i think if the os doesn't create the "sleep" cycles, then these work, but i seemm to remember that ms os's from me forward have this built in

I use to run CPU Idle on Win98 and it worked really well... Download.com has the shareware version of it.

Rain 1.0 is very effective and the least obtrusive.
