LOL that poor guy is all over the net!!

Post by Koo Koo Mouse »

After reading all 39 pages (so far)at Hardcop <a href="http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php ... 8438">Hard forum thread</a
or what ever it's called, I have to wonder if this guy even knows his face is famous LOL!
They got him is scenes of: The Titanic, The hinenburg, pearl harbor, the Concord crash... Later thru (bout page 20) they have his face plasterd on video boxes and movie posters..Man I was about dying looking at those! :) Thanks Bilburblin(SP?) for the link on the other post.

I just wondering if this poor soul even knows about it and what he would think!!

Bet we will see him on a talkshow some day... "Golly I never thought this would happen to me...."

:laugh

PS.. I am not making light of the tradigy but this is some good stuff! I laughed hard for the first time in a while..

Any thoughts?

I'm laughing so hard I think I pissed my pants.... ROFLMAO!

That has to be one of the BEST threads EVER!!!

Oh man, I'd LOVE to download them all and add them to a folder of WTC related stuff I'm compiling - everything from photos of the attack to Bin Laden flash games. I want to save it all for posterity - the good and the bad.

Anyone takes the time to download these suckers PLEASE zip them and put them somewhere we can download them.

Maybe I'll just kill a night and do it.

hehe, that guy will become an urban legend for sure.

If you click 'printable version' it will list all the images on one HUGE page. It makes viewing them easier. I am on a T3 (100 Mb ethernet) and it took about 2 minutes to load, so watch out.

Last I checked a full T3 has a maximum speed of 45 Megabit.

Yep many people in colleges will say they have a 100 meg connection, its 100 meg over the college network, and a t3 to the net, still fast though.

Well I'm in the process of saving them all to my hard drive. About 1/4 of the way there.

I'll post the zip for download when it's finished.

Cool...FP
I made one myself with Osama in it.
I find it very hard to trace an image to cut out...is there an easier way?
any of you guys know how to cut out a head or a person without tracing it with the lasso tool?
my wrist is sore from carpal tunnel and I cant trace it steady enough.
any tips?
thanks

I think my favorite ones are the original pic with a kitten running towards the building, the one iwth Kermit the Frog flying through the air, and the one with teh squirrel on the airplane. I was rofl. Greatness, pure greatness. :lol

There are other ways to cut out an image if you have IE 5.5 or better. I'm not Photochop master, but I get by.

One of the better methods is using the Magic eraser tool which works very well once you get the feel for it and set it up right. Do a search online for a tutorial on it.

Most of the time for web work, which doesn't need to be very critical usually at that resolution, I use the magic lasso and then go into Quick mask mode and use the paintbrush to fix any goofs.
