The Musketeer!!!!

Post by FanTum »

This movie looks totally sweet!!!

After I saw the previews I said, WOH!

I like the overall idea and the action scenes look excellent!!!

Why not? We had Jackie Chan in the wild west, why not a little kung fu action in medieval times?????

The trailer on TV is just a tease...You gotta see the one at the movie theatre...WWHHHOOAAA!!! The guy doing the voice over says the fight scenes were done by one of the Matrix guys I believe. Next Friday, I will be the first one in line!!!

It looks like a Honk Kong action flick with swords. Who wouldn't want to see that? I know I am there opening night.

Same here. I never did like the way the older movies looked with the fencing. Too dainty looking for men trying to kill each other if you ask me. I will be there.

Yeah I did actually. We hit all the major amusment parks there and had a blast. Wraithboy in particular had a great time as he is now big enough and old enough to go on most of the larger rides. Went to Blizzard Beach the last day and got a sunburn so bad I couldn't wear a shirt for the next 3 days tho :)

All in all is was a great trip.

Well, The Musketeer officially sucked.

They avoided action through most of the movie. Then, when an action scene finally rolled around, the editor didn't know what to do. Whoever edited this movie should be shot. The editor just chpped together the action sequences, and succeeded in making a confusing jumble. It was hard to see who was fighting who in most scenes. That is simply ridiculous.

The Musketeer gets a serious thumbs down from me. It could have been really cool, but the editor and director just screwed up the execution. That seems to be pretty common with movies this summer.

Well actually, the movie was good :) (Plot, storyline, acting) But the action sequences, which was why I spent my $15 for my girl and I to see it, just plain sucked big juicy d**k. Poop is right, whoever did the editing just put all the fight scenes out on the table and put them together blindfolded. It had all the tools to be a good flick, it's just that the guy with the wrench was a freak'in retard...... :(

Pretty much sums it up. Storywise the movie was just fine, and the acting was well done but the fight scenes seemed really....jumbled for some reason. Half the time you couldn't tell what was happening at all.
