Not sure which one you mean but I have the wireless trackball optical and I am hooked on it. After using logitechs original trackman marble + I can't go back to a moving mouse again. Too much trouble. :D

Seriously - I can understand why you'd want a wireless mouse - moving it around with a wire attached is a nuisance. But WHY do you need a wireless track ball???? It doesn't move!!!!! :)

well, I was lookin' at the mouse version, but like the trackball too. I have an old Trackman Marble that's been through hell and works like a chimp, (champ) :) Thanks Mike, may have to look around for one.

It does work like a chimp alright. :P :D

Well FP, I love sittin' back on my chair cruisin the net. The "wireless" trackball sometimes on my leg, arm of chair or on the kb pull out drawer. And no wire to be in the way. :D

I've used both the Logitech cordless mouse and the Logitech optical mouse, but not the combination of the two :)
I read a review that said it was nice, but had some lag problems in games. I never noticed any lag with my cordless mouse when I played games, but maybe that changed with the new mouse. I would check it out at the store first to see how it feels, and if it feels good, then go for it.

I dont much care for the new logitech trackball design. It is a little too narrow for my tast. But I have used the cordless mice in the past, and I love them.
