Hot deals on Bird's at Accessmicro

Post by PreDatoR »

All CPU's are 266 FSB flavor

1 gig $105
1.13 $103
1.2 $115
1.33 $149
1.4 $187

I thought these prices sounded pretty damn good. Now if i only had the money i'd go for a 1.2 Gig :(

And some linkage for Blade :) http://www.accessmicro.com

I just purchased a 1.4 from them at the beginning of last week. I payed for next day shipping, they have yet to ship it out to me.

So they may be ok if you don't need anything in a hurry, but if you are in a hurry you may want to look elsewhere.

I'd call and say you want a refund on the shipping. It might be though that the 1.4's aren't in stock and its a pre-order kind of thing. I'd definately call and bitch though...

yeah Accessmicro is SO FULL OF CRAP...
i ordered an athlon 1.33 from them... i had 2nd shipping...
called them after 1 day to check on the status cuz it seems they're having trouble w/ my cc...
got that problem taken care of... wait the next day... then they tell me they screwed up w/ my order and now it's disappeared...
called the 3rd day... they said they now only have 1/2 my order in stock but they do have the athlon...they'd ship within 48hrs...
ok...... so much for 2nd shipping.... called after 48hrs... now the only friggin thing in stock is the damn mouse!!!! WTF!... got pissed cancelled the order.. called my cc to make sure nothing's been charged... turns out they've got 2 authorizations no my account!...

went to multiwave for my purchase... the shipment processed the next day and i had my stuff in 3 days...

the lesson folks? NEVER BUY FROM ACCESSMICRO/MCGLEN
stick to places you know and love... some may be more expensive... but you won't have to deal w/ morons like AccessMicro

Well shoot. Sorry guys. I've used them 3 times so far and not one problem but if you are having troubles like that then I'll remove their link.

I dealt with accessMicro once way back when a K7V was top of the line and it took numerous phone calls and tons of emails to get it shipped to me after over 2 weeks when I paid for 2nd day. Never dealt with them since. Customer service there just plain sucks. Also their website is never updated to say what they actually have in stock. I tried ordering another item from their clearance section at the same time and they informed me that it had been out of stock 2 weeks prior to my order so I definitely wouldn't recommend them no matter how cheap they appear to be.
