Customer: "What's going to happen to my computer when the year 2000 hits? Will it just not work anymore, or what?"

Tech Support: "Actually, the year 2000 problem is this: it seems most of the computer code up until recently had been written assuming that the first two digits in the year of any date were "19." So basically, some of these applications, when the year 2000 rolls around, will reflect "1900," rather than "2000." Of course, there weren't any computers around in the year 1900, and so your computer will simply disappear."

After looking very concerned for a few seconds and saying nothing, I reassured him I was joking.

This is my buddy Reed's new site. It ain't done yet...but keep an eye on it, he's a great guy. Just got his CCNA last week :D

BTW....this is sad. My only computer capable of browsing the internet and using AIM right now is a 486. Sure hope my new RAM gets here soon :(

today's link

Someday I may post the link to my site, but it's sooooooooo incomplete it's embarrassing. (bit off more than I could chew when I came up with the idea) :D

Doesn't help that I'm doing it without builders or outside help. (tis a lot to learn) but it does remind me of a bonus link to the alternative to notepad that I use. Give it a shot, it offers a lot more options than notepad.

Well folks, no link today....comp is acting up severely and a reformat is in order VERY soon, so if you don't see me here for a few days....well, you can bet I'm having trouble. :D Actually, I have loads of other things that will also be keeping me busy the next few days.

Sooooooo, that said, I am asking everyone to keep an eye on that Zyph character and make sure the little s.o.b. doesn't win this thread while I'm gone. I'm counting on you all. ;)
