Installing Detenator Drivers

Post by juker »

What is the correct process for installing new Detonator drivers. I bought a new Dell with a GeForce 2 GTS. Do I just remove the old drivers through device manager, change the video adapter, reboot, then install new drivers?

Thanks in advance.

the way you described is probably the best way. theeasiest way is to just "update" the driver.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE DET DRIVERS FIRST!

I usually recommend uninstalling any video utiltiies and change the display driver to "Standard VGA" .

Then reboot and when it asks for the driver, direct it to the path where the Detonator driver is at.

You wanna do it the easy way? Here is a link for an Nvidia driver removal program.
