Several months ago I moved, and mailed my computer to my new address.
When it arrived the hard drive chassis was knocked loose and was banging on the mother
board. I put-in the processor(mailed separately) tried to start it, it wouldn't power-up(no fans or
ram led). I fiddled with it, could-not-make it work.
I break it out today, just because, and fiddled with it.
All that is in the case now is 128 pc133 ram, AMD classic w/orb, 10 gig HD, apg tnt2,
and a 300w ps.
For some reason I turned on the power supply, pressed the power button, nothing happens,
But then remove the cmos jumper(normal default) The ps fan, orb fan, and apg fan turns on,
And the ram led, and hd led(green on the bottom) turn on. their are 5 leds on the bottom of
my monitor, they flash in some order when it doesn't have a signal(when the monitors on but
not plugged in to the computer). So the computer powers on, but nothing on the monitor. I
replace the ram with 64 pc100, and apg card with a pci 16meg diamond. still nothing on the
monitor.
Please give me good news.

Make sure the ram and CPU are fully seated.
HOWEVER, I'm afraid that if the hard drive was banging into the mobo during shipment, you more than likely damaged a trace or surface mount component on the mobo's circuit board and it's history.
