Go get the Mp3 of Ozzy Osbourne's Road to Nowhere. Or better yet go to:
http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Pa ... .html#Road To Nowhere
and read for yourself. It explains it 100s of times better than I could ever try to.
BTW, Joe brought up a very good point. AA. I sat there to help Michelle when she got sent to one of those things... I almost broke down and cried when I heard her say that, and I'm the type of person who usually just bottles that type of emotions up and keeps it inside... I couldn't imagine having to stand up and say that out loud.

Thanx again EVERYONE for caring, but its not like I am addicted to this. I *could* stop whenever I wanted to. Many of my friends live in both worlds just fine. They are succesful, and not completly clean. I don't do these things as often as you may think that I do. You guys know me. I am smart. (sometimes

FYCI (for your chemistry info
)-- Liquor freezes at lower temps b/c of the ethanol (a.k.a. ehtanol). Any time you create a solution in water, the freezing/melting point drops. When the temperature falls, the added ethanol molecules in the solution interfere/block the formation of stroner bonds needed to make a solid out of a liquid. Therefore, more energy must be removed from the system (i.e. colder temp) to form the bonds needed to make a solid. The more ethanol present (i.e. higher proof of liquor), the lower the temp needs to be to freeze it. Everclear (95% alcohol) almost never freezes unless you won some kind of super freezer. This is also the same reason that they put salt on roads when ice forms; the sodium chloride lowers the freezing/melting point of the ice, hence it turns to water at a lower temp.
Frost--
You sound exactly like everyone else living a hedonistic lifestyle does. "I can quit anytime." "Everyone else is doing it, why can't I?" "He's successful and drinks more than I do, so I'm invincible!" You know what happens to those people? They get pregnant/impregnate some girl, end up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning, killing someone while driving drunk, or end up broke ass on the street. If you were really that "smart," you would listen to the people who have been there and realize that its stupid. But you not going to do that anyways b/c you don't want to give up your "cool" lifestyle. All I can do is hope that you don't kill someone (i.e. yourself , me or my friends/family) in the process.

On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.
I'm jumpin into this one for sure !!
When I read all this, I see a 14 year old boy, his voice still crackin, and his b@lls barely dropped tryin to be a big man....
and I laugh at how "smart" ya think you are...
You and you're magical thinking, Oh it's only a little and only once and awhile, but that's where you're wrong...
a little is a lot...and is a big deal. i never even drank until I was 18! Laws are there for a reason...
you're 14...act like it...be young, not stupid.

I thought it wasn't a matter of proof? j/k Splitfire. Thanks for the info. Somebody paid attention in Chem class.
And Frost, we love you man. Don't take this as a "gang up on Frost" or anything. I had that same attitude in high school. A little turned into a lot and the next thing I knew I was getting high on campus. Fortunately it only lasted one semester and I stopped. Had some distant friends who saw what was happening to me and they started asking me to do things with them. They were all clean acts and just being with them encouraged me to clean it up too.

Solstice: I am not taking this as a "gang up on Frost" by any means. I know you are all just looking out for me.
Let me ask you all this. Is it imposible for a person to drink/smoke/whatever else I am not supposed to do yet/at all and not get into trouble and mess up their life? I am not saying that I am going to continue to do this nomatter what or anything, but I just don't see how that if you drink and smoke your pretty much guaranteed to screw up your life.

Noone can say or gurantee that Frost. SOme people get tired of screwing up when they mature and just stop while others never do and mess up their lives.
Put it this way ... if you don't drive a car you cannot get into a car accident right?
So if you don't drink booze at 14... you get it right?

WW: Thats a pretty good way of putting it. So your saying like its not impossible, but the odds aren't exactly on my side huh?
