Also missing was the, "This is where I start to have fun." line where she's laying over the guy. A high ratio of stuff in trailer that didn't make it to final cut.

Check out Aint It Cool's Moriarty's review/smackdown on the whole mess. Esp. check out the links to his earlier reports where he raved over the script and gave thumbs up to the footage he saw. Apparantly, something went DRASTICALLY wrong in the interim. DAMMIT.

blade: Her lips have ALWAYS looked like that. Not all beestung lips are collagen injections.

Also, with regards to her shorts: She doesn't like them and didn't want to wear them until well into shooting. (Drat!) Also, considering the amount of scuffing around she does, she'd be more banged up than Monica FatChickWhoBlewThePrezAndWon'tGoAwayNowinski.

Me and 8 other friends just went to see the movie about 4 hours ago. We all thought the same thing. We all asked...who's idea was to go watch this movie ?? We all thought it really sucked. I got really sleepy near the end and I've never felt like falling asleep in the theaters before.

The beginning was alright I guess since she did some moves flipping moves from the videogame. Also the part when they get the first half was alright too but it just went downhill from there.

If they broke the damn triangle in half to keep others from ever using the power again why didn't they break it into a million pieces ? Instead they chose to break it in half and hide it in 2 different places and have a key so that someone can someday try to bring the to halves together. Also in the letter her dad told her to use the key and find the 2 halves and destroy them....why not just tell her to destroy the damn key ??!!

And damned that second shower seen to hell !!! My friend was like...I thought they were gonna show her taking a shower again but instead I saw the horror !!!

Zyph, I saw that in the comercial but it wasn't in the movie. I thought when they were talking they were gonna say it. It's not a big deal but why did they take it out ?

I haven't seen it but am certain it will suck the big hairy's.

Rule for the movie going public: Any film based a computer/video game will be appauling.

Always too much on making it like the game and too little on making a good film, never a decent script in sight.

One of these days they will learn until then it will join Wing Commander, Super Mario Bros etc. as completely forgettable films.

I thought her line in the trailer was "Are we having fun yet!" as she was under the robot. Yep I noticed that wasn't there either. Doesn't make sense at all to not have things that are in a trailer not in the actual movie.

With all these millions of bux invested you'd think someone with some intelligence would have noticed some of these obvious flaws. Never ceases to amaze me.

And why the hell the fuzzy/blurry film technique, I'll never get that one.

The movie wasn't fuzzy or dirty when I saw it. It was kind of dark, but not too badly done. I thought the camera angles and some of the shots were kind of cool, but were assembled horribly. I could tell there was some good material in there, but it was simply chopped together.

Luc Besson would also be cool for the sequel. He can pull off comic-book and make it look good. His editing is really good (IMO), as well.

well... i definitely don't think it sucked...
it definitely kept more true to form to the vid game thank past video game turned movies such as street fighter and double dragon (remember those POS's)

that and couple with a buxom and extra bouncey  star and LOTS of running scenes (and a nice peek on an after shower seen)... and you've got one hell of a movie...

Heh, I thought I just missed the scene from the trailer where she says those things, now I know it's not just me! That's pretty odd. The one part from the trailer I'm glad they cut is when the robot says in a cheezy voice, "TERMINATE LARA CROFT". I thought that sounded pretty lame...

alot of movies have scenes in trailers that dont show up in the actual movie

mine didnt look too dark or anything when i watched it

the plot holes were stupid, but thats the way it is with ALOT of movies. Just think about James Bond and how the bad guy always tells him what his plan for world domination is, and then tries to kill him using this seemingly unescapable method....

the funniest thing that happened throughout the whole movie, was when my friend walked in late (he was getting popcorn or something), and we were half way through the robot scene. He turns around and goes "I didn't miss her naked, did I?" :D
