Well, I not only got the first one (wasn't that hard) I got the second one sometimes yesterday and using the 'hint' from rubberduckie (I didn't use it verbatium, just was something to get me started) I finished the third one too.

I don't remember how I got the 2nd one finished, but I suddenly moved this guy and this guy and I finished it.

Did anyone else notice the 'reward' after the third puzzle? It offers you to be able to get the 4th puzzle if you send in valid feedback for another puzzle. Anyone do this yet? Can you post the URL to the 4th one here? My brain is fried from this weather, so I currently can't think of anything to suggest.

The only thing that was a little annoying is the constant thumping of the cannibals in puzzle 2, then on top of that....whenever you lose and the missionary gets eaten, you hear a loud 'burp' and the thumping seems to be louder.....of course, all of this could be my imagation due to my subwoofer making everything sound louder. )*

Lol! Thats funny Zyph.

The first had me stumped for about 5 minutes and then DoH! Got it! The second one I gave about ten minutes and firgured there aint no way. I know there is but it just dosn't seem possible...
I cheated and went to the third one and failed miserably right away. (changed the url to get there) I seen about enough of that one. No patience for slow moving people! I just want to finish number two...

BTW: Here's a little hint for those of you having trouble getting your missionaries across without getting eaten: Get all the missionaries over FIRST, then worry about the cannibals.

btw: slight change to what I said before about getting game 4, you only need to send feedback....so even if you can't think of another puzzle, you can get the forth game.

I figured out the third one a couple minutes after I posted about not being able to figure it out.

The first one was very simple.

The second one took me 5 trys.

I passed this URL to my co-workers on Friday. Within 10 minutes I had almost everyone in the lab playing these silly puzzles. "Yes boss... it's my fault... I'm the one who brought productivity to a screeching halt on Friday." A few of us sent comments and haven't received the 4th puzzle yet. I'll post it if and when we get it.

my math teacher decided to not teach one day, and gave us alot of puzzles similar to these (well, it was kinda related cuz it was finite mathematics)

he said the 3rd one was used by IBM during interviews to test problem solving skills

WhooHoo!!!! I got the second one.! All I needed was some beer so I would slow down and not think so much!!
I'm heading out to get more beer! I,m starting to feell pretty smart! My wiife even told me I'm getting smart with her after only a 12'er, By midnight I will be the smartest guy in the world and she should be really happy with me!!

PS..I really don't know what sequence worked and couldn't do it again but there is a way!

Solution to 2nd Puzzle.....highlight it to get answer:

C=Cannibal
The Arrow means that the boat will HAVE to have those passangers when it moves in that direction or you will lose. To get you started, all characters are at the Right side (MMM CCC), in the first step two Cannibals (CC) take the boat to the left (<-), but in the second step only one Cannibal (C) goes to the right (--->). OK?

1&2 i got through in a few minutes. #3 has caused me to spend about 30 minutes and made me swear at out loud at a comp for the first time in years.(I think it all the time

)

Sorry... that quote (from Aliens) just popped into my head.

Actually at work on Friday one of my co-workers was really struggling with the 3rd puzzle. It was driving him insane. We ate lunch on campus in the cafeteria where every table has bowls full of toy Legos. While the rest of us were enjoying our lunches he was using various sized Legos to try to solve the puzzle, all the while cursing at me for bringing this nightmare upon him.
