new tbird in. SHAWING!
have this new axia chip 1giger running at defult voltage up to 1425 9.5*150. it is super sweet. I swaped out my 1giger that was at 1133 at 1.85v for this one. have to say I notice a differance on some things but not on evertrhing. Benchmarks sure noticed it though.
in sandra I got huge increases....and in N-bench I almost gained 1000 points well 800 or there about. with a radeon that ant bad I have t say. Ohwell back to seti and folding.

He uses those Asus a1337vZ's or whatever they are, not Iwill. He'd get higher FSB speeds if he did use an Iwill. I think he might have one incoming. Smart move.
You're better off raising the FSB than upping the multi when OCing 266 T-birds. The idea is to max the FSB as high as it will go. That's where you get the best performance increases, especially in memory bandwidth department. Of course having good OCing memory would be appropriate for that approach too.
As far as temps go, I'm using a KK266R with a Taisol (w/copper) and a Delta 38 . I get about 27-28C @ idle and 42-44C under full load, 9.5*162 FSB @ 1.85v. A bit noisy, but nice and cool.
BTW, I'm guessing that's your spleen under your user ID?

I can't seem to go any higher than 140 with my FSB and even at 140 it becomes unstable
What kind of ram are you guys using ?
Also I tried 150 and got into windows but my videocard drivers didn't seem to load up so it looked like I didn't install my videocard drivers yet.
Is that a problem with ram, cpu or videocard ?

I've just recently started having stability problems at 1.4Ghz
I'm gonna order a Swiftech MC462-A with Delta FFB0812SHE 80mm fan soon
I'm also thinking about either getting 2 sticks of 256MB Kingmax PC150 SDRAM or Tonicom PC160 SCRAM
Just got 3 orders to build computers so I'm gonna use the money I get from that to upgrade a little

Most likely the culprit is your KT7A and /or your RAM. I had a KT7A and it wouldn't do anything higher than 137 FSB stable. That's why I dumped it in favor of the KK266R. In order to find the Highest FSB your mobo is capable of, set your RAM to it's slowest timings (cas3, 3-3) and disable 4-way interleave. Then move your FSB up a bit at a time.
As far as the RAM goes. I'd get either the Tonicom PC166 cas2 from atacom or some Corsair PC150 cas2. I'd skip the Kingmax stuff.
