OT Happy Easter and a word to Blade
Thank for the words of encouragement. It means a lot to me and I actually have re-read one letter from you several times and it makes me feel better. I think I am going to pull up my boots and try this living thing for a while and see how this book turns out. Thanks again my friend, I do not think you know how much you helped me.

hey scott, happy easter to you also!
on of my favorite cartoons from the sixties was an R. Crumb
cartoon showing two guys in a cardboard box - they were both bored tired depressed, etc. they have a little dialogue abou whether it's worht the hassle to open the box and climb out, then decide it's too mucj hassle and they like it where they are - last panel is a picture of the box sitting on a beautiful hillside on a nice morning like today - it's real easy to get comfortable in the box and not climb out - so get those boots on and report back on what's going on out there!

scott you will see things are really a lot more greener then you have been thinking and you do have a lot more friends then you thought to !
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me.

Here's a good book to read about dealing with life changes: http://www.whomovedmycheese.com/ It's a quick, fun and easy read; probably can find it at your local library. Good luck
Scott, you are more than welcome here you are part of our family, and if you need me (or a good many others here I am sure) we are there for you, just ask.

"Don't Quit"
"When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit -
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns.
And many a fellow turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man.
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late when the night came down
How close he was to the golden crown,
Success is failure turned upside down.
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are;
It may be near when it seems afar.
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit."
My Mother gave me this little poem on a slip of paper at a time when my world had turned a flip and the words struck home. Parts of this little poem are worded poorly but the meaning comes through. Perhaps my strength came from these words or from the heart of my Mother, either way it came and with it my world slowly became a better place - better than ever before.
I've seen the poem elsewhere since then but I've carried that slip of paper for 11 years. My Mother was laid to rest last Wednesday and yet these words still grant me strength from her heart.
