If these are not allowed anymore mods please feel free to lock this, and I apologize.

I have a socket A 1.0 ghz Tbird that runs for days at a time playing any game I want to play at any time (it has been burned in also). Your milage may vary of course but I would like to get a price check on this item.

Thanks folks. :)

I believe it is stably, but it should run good in most any machine at this speed I would think.

I would say around $155 or so. it was just a joking comment on the "it can run for days...your milage may vary concept" nothing personal, or nothing intended :)

I was kinda curious about that myself. I'm running a 1ghz @ 1.2 myself. I'm considering and upgrade.

Those 1.3ghz+ look awfully attractive don't they?

Yes that is the current plan, I was looking at, I am a little worried about cooling however, but I have the FOP38 w/ delta so without going to some active type cooling I think that is about the best I can do.

I just had access to 2 AXIA T-birds. Oe was a 1.3 200mhz and the other a 1.33 266. I tried the 1.3ghz and the best I could come up with was 1.4 @ 1.85v on my KT7A. I'll report on the status of the 1.33 later. RubberDuckie owns both of them and I'll let him tell ya what he comes up with. I would assume around 1.45ghz.

Hmm.. I want an extra 200mhz not just a measly 100mhz. ;)

But, either way, I think I'm gonna hold onto my 1ghz @ 1.2 for the time being. I don't see a reason to sell my present CPU for ~$150 and then add $100 to achieve 200mhz more. That works out to be $.50 per mhz. Kinda pricey if you ask me.

Prolly won't be too long, before I upgrade, I just want at least 300mhz+ before I dish out anymore money.

BTW,..I neglected to add that I tested the 1.3 200 @ 1.4ghz with that exact cooler. A GlobalWin FOP38-1 with Delta. It's a noisy lil bastard but, from what I've read, it's one of the best you can buy. Esp for $25!

<A HREF="http://www.hardocp.com/reviews/cooling/ ... ml">Here's Kyle's Heatsink roundup</A> lot's of great info.
