Tristan took WAY too long to get back with you, that is not acceptable. I feel for his issue with his mother, but getting back to you in 4-month intervals is absolutely out of the question. You shouldn't even have sent the second stick IMHO, he should've contacted you right away - period. If someone gets back to me 4 months later to tell me they didn't get something from that long ago would be ridiculous, I would simply have to laugh at that.

last year i was in the hospital for about a month. and I had an ongoing deal with gcs, but i did manage to keep in touch. even with a hand written note, mailed by my brother.

You were both wrong. The basis of these boards being able to work is communication. When he didn't receive his ram, he should've let you know in a timely manner(week or two?) When you shipped w/o confirmation, you should've contacted him as to whether he received. You're out your original stick and he's out his time waiting. He now has product dealt for, so IMHO deal done. But hopefully both have learned...communication..communication..communication!!

This is a very tough dispute, but im going to turn in my 2c worth.

I know its hard to swallow, but MR BEAR has full filled his end of the deal. The biggest thing here is the lack of you keeping on his ass about it. I know its not your job to do so, but seems like codybear notified you when he shipped the 2nd time, but you did not let him know until 4 months later you had not received the goods. He then sent another stick of ram to you.

I say just keep the ram and suck it up.

Hell if you like ill take the ram off your hands. Im in need of another stick right now. Ill even pay shipping on it!!
