hadn't thought about it.
I sent a MSI dual and 2 550s at 787 to Gary at 2CPU and he said one died in shipping{???}but I have to replace it to keep my fine upstanding character intact.
rotflmao
I insured the package so I just want to get him one asap.
figure since I'm porked anyway, about $20?
and how do you have almost 700 posts?
do you LIVE here?

I'd love to Pidge, but this has to be an fcPPGA chip.
I ASSumed people would know because I mentioned a pair in an MSI board.
My bad.
but at least it keeps the post current :D
Thanks for the offer

I have another 750 I can sell.
Deal is, I NEED a 550 before I can do any more trades.
I can't leave the guy hanging with 1 chip in a dual board.
I tried to do the deal here without posting anywhere else.
Don't feel like dealing with the Ferengis as Mr.Dawn would say, But, I imagine it has come to that :(

A cpu was killed durng shipping? Scott, it seems to me that you sold your system to a Ferengi. How does a CPU get bungholed during transit, especially the way you package them?

Yeah, sounds kind of fishy, but I thought the rig would still run with one chip? And you would need a 550 that is cb0 or cc0 or something right? Or no?
