Hello Everybody, I got a Leadtek Winfast GTS 32 meg a few months ago and I am just getting around to over clocking it. I am using the Winfast Utility to avoid the problem with the Det 6.50 coming out of sleep mode. I have it clocked at core of 220 amd memery 345. My question is how far do these cards normally go? Any other tips or suggestions welcome TIA

I've got my Creative GF23 GTS at 215/360, tests have shown that the memory OC gives the most benefit, rather than the core. As every card is different, just increase in small (say 5 Mhz) increments until you notice either lockups (core too high) or artifacts (memory too high).
Make sure you have good case cooling, for instance, I use a crad cooler blowing on my vc, and my case temp is never more than 5C over the ambient air temp.
Room temp=20C
mainboard(case) temp=24C
CPU at idle=26-28 C
CPU under load=35-40C

Leadtek Cards............

are real nive overclockers.......they re designed the original Geforce to allow tweakers like us a good shot at goal!

Hey memory increases are the best, get a fan blowing on the whole card to cool the chips.
A little crazy, but safe enough

Thanks for the replies. I have got it doing 225 core and 360 memery I have ordered soem heat sinks for the memery from 2cooltek just to be safe. My case cooling is very good my case temp stays equal with room temp. So far I have had no problems at all as soon as i get the heat sinks I will try to push a little further

:) Glad to hear that you got it O/C that high :) I have ram sinks from 2cooltek on my Radeon. :) Shes happy at 205/205 with them, and default chip cooling.

Wow I think I just found the sweet spot. It was running at 235 core and 360 memery but I was not seeing that much improvement in fps in U/T about 60 on average then I bumped up the core to 240 and all of a sudden I am getting an average of around 80fps at 1024x768 16 bit color I am likeing this Leadtek more all the time.
