Having finally parted with some of my year 2000 fantasy football winnings, I got a 1.2 t-bird ( purple core, 100 FSB "B" version ) and after a couple weeks of trying every different Multiplier, FSB, and core Voltage........it looks like 9.5 x 137 FSB / 1.775v ( 1302 ) is the best this thing will do. Seems like that's it's sweet spot. You'll noitce that the core voltage is pretty low. I tried higher voltages and it didn't seems to help much.

I ant complainin' as this rig is FAST as heck!! I have everthing max'd in the BIOS so that's a plus too.

This combo is gonna have to last a LONG, LONG time as I'm piss pot broke and da wife has done cut off the PC budget..... :(

I'll be a member of the 1.3 club for a good while. Some pertinent stuff used was........

Taisol 742092 Heatsink / Sunon 60x25mm fan ( 5625rpm )
Arctic Silver ( courtesy Nexus_7 )

Benches:

3dmark default demo = 5439
3dmark 32 bit = 4840 or something like that, can't remember
Sisoft Mem bench = 583 / 640

Try an Alpha PAL6035 heatsink if you can... I had a 1.2/200 on an AD11 which did 1333 (10x133) without breaking a sweat (the heatsink was warm but not hot). The Taisols are solid coolers but not prime for O/C.

Is that the taisol that performed extremely well on hardocp?? I had the same heatsink. Get a 60 2 80mm converter and a 41cfm 80mm fan... It kicks ass. Right now I'm using a fop-38 and like it better!?!?!?! I might try and put an 80mm fan on it to get rid of the noise though.

My bird is being lame. Only 1233, but thats not too bad.

So, this all means that Todd will be "stuck" at 1.3 for about two weeks. ;)
