OT: Usenet rap session needed! I need to learn a few things...

Holy smokes..can't believe that I've been around this long and just getting into usenet now. I could really use some advice.

I am currently using Xnews browser for binaries and I LOVE it. Is there anythign better out there for binaries?

What is an SFV file and how do I use it?

Just d/l'ed newsgrabber 3...sounds great but do I have to have access to several different servers to use it, and if so are there any free ones that are any good?

What are the best groups for binaries?

Are posts to newsgroups anonymous or is your IP logged anywhere (I use my ISP's server)?

Anything else out there I need to know about?
