I'm sorry that some of you disagree with the decision but we do understand. Bottom line is if one was allowed then we'd get more lame emails from those not allowed to have them saying we are descriminating against them and all kinds of pleasant hate mail, spam and other assorted goodies.

Eventually there will be some crook who might be even a good trader but gets in a situation where he needs some quick and easy cash. He holds a group buy, collects the moola and then he's gone. Other scenerios have already happened at anands where there's shipping problems, people getting the wrong items and poor communication from the ones holding group buys. Sorry, but it's tough enough to keep bad traders away so there will be no group buys because of the potential hassles. This isn't ment to single anyone here out at all. I hope you know that and understand this decision. ;)

heat, there have been many that had problems from what I've seen and heard. It really doesn't matter what groups did what though, it's logical to think that this is a real nightmare waiting to happen. I think it's a very good decision that will prevent (unlike some other boards that don't do anything until it's too late, and sometimes even ignore it then) a potential disaster from happening.

It's the right thing to do, just my opinion...but it counts!!! :D

I also agree that we shouldn't have them. There is too much room for mistakes, and theives. If you want to sell those items, you CAN do it just as long as they are in your possesion already.

I think the downside potential is just too great on these. Believe me, the hassle involved with having $$ on the float on a trade gone bad is not worth the hassle of saving a few bucks.

We could have group sells, where we all sell stuff to someone ;) First, let's sell all our floppy disks to . . .
