Vertical Mouse?

I was reading Yahoo, and they had an article about vertical mice. I never heard of a vertical mouse. Looks like this:

Any of you geeks ever use one before? I have never had any pain in my right wrist from either playing or using the PC for work. I use a support mouse pad that will make your wrist parallel with the mouse that you are using.

I may have to check this out for work. I'm on the computer a lot at work and I noticed the other day, while playing subnautica, that my hand was falling asleep. That has never happened before.

I can't tell from the pictures or the description if that is a scroll wheel or trackball. I'm assuming it's a scroll wheel.
