Snipit: (notice all the amount!)
The goal of the Volkswagen Class Settlement Program is to compensate everyone who owned or leased a Volkswagen or Audi 2.0-liter TDI vehicle (“Eligible Vehicle”) on September 18, 2015 (the date the emissions allegations became public), or who now own an Eligible Vehicle. Volkswagen has agreed to create a single funding pool of a maximum $10,033,000,000 which Class Members will be compensated under the Class Settlement Program.

They have $67 billion in assets. I wonder which divisions they will sell off? I hate that this is going to screw over German workers.

I know my 2003 is not on the list but a friend has one that is and would do the buyback in an instant if he knew he could get a Tesla to immediately replace it.

that's some hefty payments to be given out . I can see if you were a owner and put a lot of miles on one of them cars in the recall . having a big grin on your face when you cash your check .
