Star Trek Continues

Post by Executioner »

Their "mission" was to finish out the original 5 year mission, so the episodes pick up where TOS ended.

WOW! Great production values and darn good acting. I've only watched the Fairest of them All so far, but that was great!

I couldn't figure out who Sulu was played by. It's Grant Imahara from Mythbusters.

The 360° INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL SET TOUR is really good.

Wow. Erin Gray was a guest star and James Doohan's son plays Scotty. Cool.

That's an awesome virtual 3D tour. Never seen one like that before.

They're 501c non profit so I will send them a few bucks.

I thought you might like them. I only watched about 10 minutes and was impressed with what I saw.

Okay, the wife and I binge-watched all six episodes tonight and they were AWESOME! First episode was a little rough, but solid scripts all around and great acting. Cinematography was a dead-on tribute to the original series. The sets, the lighting, everything was perfect. It felt like I was watching six lost episodes of the original series.

I didn't like the actor who played McCoy in the first two episodes, but the actor who replaced him was perfect.

The scripts were really deep, and thought provoking like the original series.

I skimmed through a couple of them and they are spot on. The captain seems weak, but maybe it's just the high pitched voice.

WOOT!!!! Two new episodes:

EPISODE 7
“EMBRACING THE WINDS”
While the Enterprise is sent on a seemingly routine mission,
Kirk is recalled to starbase where he faces an ethical dilemma
that challenges the very core of Starfleet Command.

EPISODE 8
“STILL TREADS THE SHADOW”
The Enterprise discovers a lost starship…
with an unlikely passenger.

Thanks for bumping this thread. I'd forgotten about these. Also, if you're a fan of the original series, the Blu-rays are totally worth it. They rescanned the original film and redid the special effects for HD.
