I've certainly knew about the Glomar Explorer and how it raised part of a Russian sub from 3 miles under the ocean in the 70s, but I never knew the engineering details of the project. This documentary goes into the nitty gritty, and includes a lot of actual declassified photos and videos.
Fascinating engineering challenge, damn near beyond the technology of the time.
