midnightrat, the only way to know what kind of RAM it is is by the specs on the chip. I always look for matching RAM instead of mixing different brands, guess I'm picky that way
. Not only that, but by the numbers you can also know if the RAM is a good overclocker or not.
Btw, Gand1 - thanks for emailing me those numbers - that was going the extra mile besides posting here
