Caps Lock light on a wireless keyboard

Post by FlyingPenguin »

This is the first time I've ever seen a Caps lock light on a wireless keyboard. That's always been one of the annoying things about wireless keyboards.

I bought my wife this keyboard & mouse combo for her laptop:

The Logitech MK270
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless ... B00BP5KOPA

It actually has a Caps Lock light on it, and it's not a dumb local-only light. It polls the laptop to see what the status is. Pressing the Caps lock on the laptop's keyboard will toggle the Caps Lock light on the wireless keyboard.

About time, is all I can say.

Yeah, I've bought a few of those for some of the staff at my office.
They work great.

I've seen some others, all Logitech from what I remember. It is a weird thing you take for granted until you don't have it anymore. Many laptop keyboards don't have it anymore either, opting for a LED nearby the Power and HDD lights.
When all else fails, replace the user.
