Penn & Teller: Fool Us // Kostya Kimlat Makes Penn Mad

Post by FlyingPenguin »

If you watch the show, you know it's hard for anyone to fool Penn & Teller. These guys have seen it all. It does happen once in a while, but this was a great example. Penn and Teller were invited right up to the table to participate, and you could tell they were scrupulously examining everything.

Teller was looking for shaved cards. One of the tricks that magicians use is to slightly shave the cards so one end is narrower than the other. That way, they can find your card by manipulating you to insert it the other direction. This was very well done. I don't see them fooled very often.

Okay, I was watching this again the other day and there was a followup video with Penn talking on a podcast he does about this trick. There's an interesting back story.
