Under the Dome is a science fiction novel by Stephen King published in November 2009. Set in and around a small Maine town, it tells an intricate, multi-character and point-of-view story of how the town's inhabitants contend with the calamity of being suddenly cut off from the outside world by an impassable, invisible barrier; one that literally drops out of a clear blue sky.
Haven't gotten into this one yet. I am consistently disappointed with movies and series based on Stephen King novels. They always ruin them.
Ok... except for Christine.

I may binge watch the first season and see if I can get into it.

OK, I may be 1-1/2 years behind, but I've finally started watching this (just finished the 1st season). Pretty decent IMO. Kinda sad that I already know that it ends after 3 seasons, but so far pretty good.
There are a couple things bugging me, but compared to a lot of SciFy shows, at least there's some meat on the bone. Reminds me a lot of Revolution which met a similar fate.
