Odd Thomas on Netflix

Post by FlyingPenguin »

Finally available on Netflix. I highly recommend it - even if you aren't an Odd thomas fanboy. I downloaded a UK rip last year because I couldn't wait to see it.

This film was originally released for 2012 but coincided with a couple of mass shootings here, so the studio delayed the release in the US and it never ran in theaters. A pity because it's quite well done and VERY true to the Dean Koontz book.

People who are not familiar with the book comment on the narrative style of the movie, but you have to understand that's the way the books were written. The books are supposed to be secret diaries Odd Thomas is writing, to be published after his death.

If you like the movie, you should definately read all the books.
