Ender's Game

Saw it today with the wife. Enjoyed it. They had to take out a lot, and change it around to make it fit into a movie, but it actually did come out very true to the novel.

I'm hoping for the best. But I've heard some worrying omissions.

Saw it last night and it didn't disappoint as bad as I was worried it would. It suffers badly from the number of cuts they had to make, but I knew that coming in. My wife hadn't read the book and even after watching the movie, I'm not too worried that it will be spoiled for her.

Yeah, considering how much they had to cut out of it, I thought it was still pretty true to the spirit of the book.

I loved seeing the battle room.

My wife never read the book and she enjoyed it.

I saw the trailer and it seemed interesting. From the trailer itself, it felt like it was missing something, which is worrisome. But special effects seem decent. Might be worth a watch later, but I don't think I'll check it out in theaters.
