Tirerack is great for research. I ordered a set of snow tires mounted from them a couple of years back. Shipping is cheaper than you'd think. Enter your car info and by best rating. Michellin and Contentintal make good touring tires but they are a bit pricey. The last set of OEM Goodyear RSA I had were terrible in the rain. General, Kuhmo,& Hancook are all decent too.

went with the Michelin primacy mxv4 set of 4 mounted and balanced at Discount tire and got them for $747.62 less a $70 rebate credit card !
plus a extra 3% ($19.14 payable after November 15th by check ) I may not see till Christmas but I will get it from e-bates .com ! for a total at end $658.48 no bad ~for a complete set of quality tires.
wanted a Tire made in North America so I payed extra for Michelin's..
