Man of Steel

nothing? you guys are slipping...

saw it yesterday and give it an 8/10. it has the most action of any movie i can recall, especially large scale type stuff. the effects are excellent. there are a few plot holes that i'm not happy with, but overall it's a great reboot. i think Henry Cavill is a perfect fit for the role.

Almost everyone tells me it's great... "until the last 15 minutes when it turns into a Transformers film."

Feel no need to see it in the theater, but I'll order it on Netflix.

some reviews i have seen stated there was "too much action", which is silly to me. i would say there isn't quite enough character development in some instances, but nothing too bad. it's one of the few movies where i was happily surprised with excessive beatings and such. one of those things where you think to yourself "i wish the bad guy would do THIS...or the good guy did THAT"...and then it happens. lol

it's worth the big screen, if you can manage a daytime showing (cheaper tickets) and less crowds.

That's what my wife and I concluded too. They went too over the top in the end.
